Yea bought some tiny parts off him, springs, check ball, lock ring and bronze shift fork pads.
Looking to buy a reverse syncro and probably blocker ring off him today and some new roll pins.

Took 3rd off, synchro material is a bit worn, going to replace the 3rd gear syncro and the reverse in total. and THATS IT for my adventure. Just gotta get some Mercon V fluid to lube everything up again during assembly.

So if anyone needs tranny work let me know...

...so that's when I knew my Friday was starting to go downhill.

So I changed out the reverse and 3rd syncro ring sucessfully.
I am putting this bitch back together! after I get the case on I am waiting for the new tailshaft housing and I'll be done.

Ahh not so fast sir noobsalot!! no says the reverse idler gear.

Can't drop the case over, now I need to find a t40 plus torx bit to take the bolt off so I can remove this thing put it on the reverse gear and try to hold it there as I slide the case over.

It's been a fun experience, almost done!

So false alarm! the bearing that was in the way comes off pretty easy I was able to get the main case back on and RTV sealed!

Just waiting for my new housing and I'm done... I put the shift gates back on and pressed 5th gear on and put a new snap ring on.
I had fun! I can say it's really not that hard at all with the right tools. I can see why they charge so much though it's a lot of work and attention to detail.
