I have a 2009 with the same I/M as you. I installed a 2008 I/M (newtakeoff.com) with the Steeda CNC Billet CMDP vs. the "Delete Plugs". I believe we have a member or two on this forum that experienced a problem with the Delete Plugs. Do a search and I think you'll find their threads.

I was worried about this problems floating around but i bit the bullet and installed them. There is no way this could cause leak if installed properly and its really hard not to install it properly. you could cut the shaft and leave the stock plugs at the end holes if you are worried about the leak. Save yourself some money and just buy the plugs.

I've had them in for 20,000 miles. I used a $6 tube of epoxy to ensure that there would be no air leaks or problems with them falling out. I checked them recently and there is not a hint of a problem.
The plugs themselves could not possibly fall out if correctly assembled.

+1. I used the factory ends from the charge motion levers to seal the ends. No leaks. Works as well as the cmdp's.
