Went to the normal scheduled TNT on Friday night at FAMOSO, racing from 8pm to 12 midnight. I was going to go heads up with Trojan, the quickest Challenger in the country at around 10:00pm.
But as luck would have it, they had all lanes except 1 closed on the 5 freeway north out of Los Angeles to Bakersfield in Castaic. SO, none of us got to go heads up during the normal TNT (when they had two lanes).
BUT--we had already rented the track for a private session AFTER the TNT for some racing between 12:30am to 3:30am. This is a video I put together of some of those races.
Too bad to as Trojan's best was a 10.33 and my best was a 10.31---it would have been really close and who knows who would have won. Trojans car did also run a 10.19 with the tuning guru at the wheel though.
Even though the humidity was keeping everyone about 1/10th slower then normal, it was still a great time---anytime you have the track to only 15 cars your going to have lots of racing.

I ended up running close to my personal best at a 10.31 vs my all time best of 10.27, so I was close. Ken ran into the 9s twice, and there was a Chrysler 300 running 11.40s--a Nova running mid 8s, etc. even with the +3000 DA (because of the humidity)
So my best 3 of the 7 runs were as follows:
10.317 @ 132.45 with a 1.489 60' and a 6.608 @ 105.69 1/8th (-.015 RT)
10.346 @ 132.78 with a 1.505 60' and a 6.637 @ 105.46 1/8th (-.009 RT)
10.392 @ 132.86 with a 1.504 60' and a 6.685 @ 105.75 1/8th (.113 RT)
