Ran the 1/8 mile last night at the dale here Cali. I had a blast but it was a fail, lol. I had massive amounts of wheel hop. How do you guys completely wheel hop; Lower control arms only? or is there more to it?

If you're going to do the lowers, you may as well go for the adjustable upper.

It's odd though. Even with stock suspension I very rarely got wheel hop.

When I would power shift into 2nd I got some violent wheel hop. When launching lightly, I didn't get it too bad.

If your lowered you might try relocation brackets for your lower control arms...the angle might not be sufficient.

Asking how the board as a group completely got rid of wheel hop is going to be pretty vague. Each car is different, each setup on each car is different, and each one may take something different to get the desired results. One person may cure it with just LCAs, when person number two had to replace LCAs, UCA, and do relocation brackets, and person number three might have just done a UCA and an axle brace.

Ya that's true, I didn't think about it that way. But I guess it's safe to say from most of the feedback is to get LCA's.

FYI- I'm on the stock suspension.

Ditto - I was there last night - why didn't you stop by and we could have taken a peek?

And some of us have never ever had any wheel hop at all, regardless of suspension setup, different tires or varying power levels.

Yeah, b/c my car has never wheel hopped (much)...when people tell me they're having trouble with wheel hop I look at them and go "Huh????" (Scooby Doo sound effect).

+1 on Don and the Dawg I never had any wheel hop on the street and only mild chatter at the track, stuck a set of BMR LCA's and problem solved
