Ok, so I had a busy week. Raced on Thursday at Irwindale and smashed my 1/8th record with a 6.49 @ 106 mph---so I was hoping that would translate to some awesome 1/4 mile passes at FAMOSO.

Well, the track prep wasn't as good as usual, so the bad news is I could only muster a 10.377 @ 133 mph. Good news is I did hit 134 mph in one pass, so this car should be able to go 10.1X. The mph at the 1/8th mile mark was very close to what I ran at Irwindale, so it was all in the 60'. Here is two timeslips, one of the best ET, one of the best MPH

Ken3030, poor Ken. Denied. Denied a 9 second pass by .01. Ken's best ET was a 10.00 @ 139 mph. He took out his anger on my poor little car, and in the video you see his car destroy me. In car camera video from my car is pretty sweet.

Adam's SRT8 Challenger. This thing really surprised me. If you would have asked me just 3 weeks ago if this thing would be running 10.73 @ 128 mph at 4400 lbs with nothing more then a KB 2.8H and M&H tires, I wouldn't have believed it. Our last run of the night was Adam vs I, and it was good. My .082 light edged out his .092. Both spun and had 1.6X 60' times. Dead even at the 330. It was a great race for sure---the kind of race which makes this fun and addicting as hell. This race is the second timeslip above and the last race captured on the video below.

Adam's only mod is the KB and a tire??? and the thing makes 700 to the tire??? Damn!!

Yep, stock long block, but he is using c16 gas--not pump.

Everyone on the Challenger forums are saying its days are numbered, but so far it has survived. Apparently the half shafts (rear IRS) are a weak point also just like on the 03-04 cobras.

Completely stock. I don't even think it has 3.55s, it has whatever the stock rear gear ratio is.

holycrap 700hp to run 10s !! awsome. that means they need about 1000 to get into 9s.

still its impressive it has taken so much power stock. i bed all those cubic inchs count

p.s. How many runs did you each get in total? I still want to make a trip to Famoso someday, but that 500-mile roundtrip is a consideration for sure.
