I am starting this thread to try and make a centralized location to check what wheels will fit with big brakes, and what wheels will look like with certain offsets/ backspacing. Post up what wheels you have, their size, if they fit with upgraded brakes (if applicable), tire size, and what offsets/ backspacing you went with. If you have pics that show the spacing and "poke" that would be a great help. I would start, but I don't know my wheel specifics as I bought them used. Also, try not to repeat. If someone posts their chrome fr500s, you don't need to post your black ones, unless of course you have different measurements. I am also going to be going thread to thread trying to quote what people have already posted.

I'm digging the way they look.

(know I have another post asking questions about them, but this is to provide some pictures)

Nitto nt555R 305/40/18 in back with nito nt555 255/45/18 fronts

Do you have Brembos on the front?

No I do not, and I was told that these will not clear them with out spacers.

How much do those weigh?

19lbs for that size wheel

I don't see them as being very similar. that thread tells you how to pick your offsets and how to understand wheel fitment, this is what the wheels will look like on a car all in a centralized place as well as if they will clear big brake kits.

So you're saying this is a thread for actual setups and reviews, and the other is explaining the theory and practice of wheel fitment, correct?

I'm all for a list of everything that works.

18" TSW Nurburgrings with 255/45ZR18s fit over 4-pot Brembos with ZERO modifications:

18x10" AMRs fit over 4-pot Brembos, but ONLY if the wheels are static-balanced with the wheel weights all put on the "inside" of the wheel. Otherwise, the wheel weights will hit the caliper, like this:

Those are vossen cv2's. 20x9 and 20x10.5. All the Vossens when run with a staggered setup will clear brembos. You have to run a spacer to clear brembos on a dual concave setup.

thanks for this info! Do you have specifics for that by chance? Is there an offset in a narrower wheel that allows it to be concave still and match the rear?

No, vossen only makes those two sizes in most there wheels. The cv3 is the exception. You could do a square 20x10 setup.

tjm's point about taking a moment to help one's self was dead on. That's exactly what this board is about, not spoon feeding every piece of information, one needs to make a bit of effort.

For the record I didn't remove any of the comments.

No one should comment or reply to this post either.

This is Brendans Boss, when I talked to him I think he said he was running a 12mm spacer on the fronts and extended lugs. Over all he said it was more of a pain in the ass then anything to run the setup he has now.

Yeah to do the 10.5's you need a 5/16 spacer for regular brakes and a 1/2 (12mm) spacer to clear brembos. Defenitly worth it for the look though;)
