My father went to Varsity Ford today to drop off his check to buy a F-150. Matt Stanford (or sales guy) took him in the back to show him a little party that was going on.

This will probably be the only time 25% of the cars will be together.

Wow, thats awesome. I saw two of the new cobrajet mustangs run at CA Speedway on the 3rd and 4th. They were having trouble getting the cars down the track, but one hit 132 mph in the 1/4. Thats good enough for very low 10s.

I going to move this to pictues / videos though.

No worries and thanks for the pics

I used to have a 1967 Fastback GTA 390 that I put a 428 in it. It ran 10.80's at LACR. As a kid I remember going to the Winternationals every February and watching the Stock and Super Stock classes. They were my favorite as they looked like you could drive them to the grocery store as well as race. Plus the wheelstands were awesome to.

LOL... I still do! I love Stock and Super Stock cars. In fact, we have our tickets for Pomona in 2 weeks! :clap:

I'd love to see photos of it! I was doing some sheet metal work for a friend on a 67 fast back a few years ago. We were just about done with the body work and he decided to sell it to buy a (then) new 04 Mach1. (he was working at dearborn assembly but is now at flat rock.)

They are what got me into drag racing!!!

To take a street car something anyone could obtain and make them do what they do.

While I love dragsters and funny cars, they just arent realistic for us "Joe the Plumbers." LOL!!

I have to admit I wish Ford offered more power, my car runs good with my tune .But Ford needs to step it up as far as offering a more powerful engine in the regular Gt.With the new Camaro coming out I will need more mods just to run with the stock v8 ss or what ever it's going to be called. I'm off topic its just sad to see what Ford is capable of doing with the power output of its mod motors.And that its out of the price range of the average Joe to buy a vehicle such as the Gt5oo, or the Cobra Jet Stang.
