Back to the track.. More MPH and 10's on 20's

I went back to the track today and made about 10 hot lap passes again getting a new best MPH and getting back into the 10's on 20's. Best pass was 10.95 @ 128 mph, also made a few 130 mph passes.

My ET was still better last year, 10.82... but I got back into the 10's this year, so now it's time to put a tire on it and let it rip!

Still has stock cams, stock converter, and stock 3.31 Ring and Pinion.

and.... driving to the track, with the cruise set at 78 mph and the A/C on max it still got 22 mpg

Best 60' today was 1.67, best ever was 1.60, but it usually leaves good, then spins after the 60'

17 lbs in the tires, not sure what the wheels weigh, but they aren't light.

Hell yeah, thats what im talking about. Could you imagine what the car might run with smaller wheels and more gear? 10's with 20's who would have ever thought. Awesome Rick, when I hit that lotto or find that hoffa guy, im def. coming your way to have a motor built.

Hey rick I am assuming your running the nitto's? I don't know of another mfg out there making 20" drag radials unless someone slipped in. I would like to see a m/t et but for obvious reasons it prolly won't happen.

bringing this back up, how high of an RPM are you spinning the 298 to? Just curious as to how high you can take the motor, with it being a stroker motor and all.

We rev it to 7,000 RPM's.

You can get a descent time on 20s but it takes some descent coin as well.
05stroker was running 10s with 1.5 60' times on 20s last year at FFW.

very very nice! That will most likely the way I go when it gets to be that time... As I understand it, the car is street driven quite a bit right?
