Dang 10,000 bucks!!! :O

I'm thinking you may be able to get it to fit with some spacers between the intake manifold/heads similar to the ones used for 4.6 3V to 5.4 3V swaps. Also you would need a very large inlet boot to adapt your intake to that giant throttle body.

I bet you'd need a cowl hood with a lot of clearance so it would fit.

The 3v is hitting its limits with the 3.4 that is on my car and some others. I don't think that the 4.0 would offer much more HP than was being made with Ken3030's car with his 3.4(I think Ken was 700+ rwhp). I beleive Ken is now using a Kenne Bell 2.8 with his big bore setup.

Get ready for the "giant crater in wallet" total.....

Livernois 323CI Stroker Shortblock- 7100
Livernois Stage 3 Heads- 3400 including APR head studs and Cometic head gaskets
Comp Stage 3 SPR blower cams- 850 with phaser limiters, 700 with phaser lockouts
4.0 whipple- about 10000
------------------------------------
Total- 21350, this does not include labor if you're not installing the stuff yourself. Heck there may be more parts needed, so I'd say not including labor expect at LEAST a 22,000 total.

might as well go with a 5.4 and a whipple 3.4 and have money to spare.

Yep, you might as well buy a Corvette ZR1 crate motor if you're going to spend that much on your car. :thud:

IF your speaking of the 323 Livernois has posted, that is for a N/A setup. its sleeved and look @ the compression ratio. you would want the iron big bore block that ford has to handle some boost. I think its to much. look @ the Techo @ 3.0 L versus the Kenne Bell 2.8. Kenne Bell whips its ass. I was looking into a setup like this one:

Supercharged. twin turbo with some juice. John, this was @ Charlotte this past weekend. I spoke to Chris and George. Tell them thanks for the DS loop.

Yes I was speaking of Livernois' 323 CI stroker, thanks for correcting me about what kind of setup it is made for. You can get a RGR 322 CI shortblock from jpcracing.com, but it is about 5 grand more, and the compression ratio is not even listed.
