Dyno Joe said to not follow the installation guide word for word. Now I can't get a hold of him to ask exactly what he was talking about. Anybody that may have a clue? If you have pointers, please share. Also I am lookin for advice on the GT500 fuel pumps. That looks easy enough to install on your own. Thanks!

I've had mine off several times and it's been over 3 years since I did it, but I don't remember anything out of the ordinary about following the instructions.

Off the top of my head I can only think of a few things on the Saleen install.
1. That damn bolt under the boost accuator. I think we ended up cutting a stubby wrench in half.
2. Make sure you have a couple extra hands to set the blower on the car. It's heavy.
3. You'll need a good torque wrench that reads in in/lbs.
4. You don't have to take your hood off.
5. When you remove the coolant line in the valley stick a wire nut in the nipple and you won't spill any coolant.

Find a couple buddies, take your time and it's really not that bad.

Air ratchet is not required. I installed mine with the hood on. I bought a cheap fuel line disconnect tool from harbor freight. frarmar is right - the bolt next to the boost accuator is very hard to get to. I found a very small wrench at sears that would reach. I recommend removing the stop notch on the belt tensioner. It will make installing the belt easier. I didn't have a panel puller. I covered a flat tip screwdriver with tape.

For the bolt under the bypass valve. Take the stop out too, or you wont be able to get to it.

A standard length 10mm wrench, cut in half works too, but it's a pain in the ass.

If you use the wrench, get some really small string (I used the kiddo's kite string) and tie it off to something because you WILL drop it. At least with the string you can just pull it back up off the bellhousing, or whereever it happens to fall. (99.99999% chance it won't just fall thru and land on the ground!!!!)
