Not sure if i should be posting this in this section or in "Corner Carvers" in either case here it goes...

does anyone have any experience with Braille Light weight batteries. i am in the process of hitting that next level on the road corse and want to shave some pounds with out freakin my significant other out on a car i still pay for (by gutting everything out).

i have read on Renlist and the Beemer forums that they are having problems with them holding the charge with just 3 days of sitting, in some colder climates.

a battery that only weighs between 6lbs and 15lbs is very appealing when the oem battery weighs in at above 30lbs. my stang is NA and i have no plans to SC/Turbo the car, so i dont need the extra crank.

any direction would be appreciated...

i have a deka etx 16L and have to start my car every day or the battery will die on me. If you do get a lightweight battery i would suggest just using it on race days.
