The evap system delete! Had to unbolt all that crap to get the battery hold down bolts installed and decided to just leave it off!

Looks like they changed the design of it between 2007 and 2010 as Jeremy said his setup looks different from mine...all told we removed 12-15lbs off the car while putting the battery dead center in the wheel well.

Only challenge for the battery relo install was running the positive wire under the car and looking for places to install the wire looms but we figured it out.

Car has 14V with it running so declaring a success!

Which lines? The hard metal one that went from the tank to the engine compartment was removed and the other ones tucked toward the axle to vent.

So will you have to get a tune update to turn off all of the emissions codes? If not I'm sure you will get the check engine light after a couple of drive cycles.

I will; need to talk to my tuner Monday to see if they are already off or not.

Why did you put the battery in the spare tire well and not in the right rear corner?

Damn, was thinking about doing this...right up to that post. Unfortunately have to get an emissions test in the next couple years so that is out. Bummer since it removes 12-15lbs

Very clean install in the tire well and the center mount made the most sense as far as wire routing and now the relay for the bap and fpdms is fed by 1ft of wire right off he battery vice 15ft from underhood.

Doing this turns the fuel tank into a vented sys, correct? Will this affect emission testing? I know they used to remove the gas cap and test it. BTW it seems funny that you remove this weight, yet the battery go's into the tire well because the Sub's are in the way. LOL
