Does anybody made a DIY rear undertray/diffuser ?

C2 aero makes some good rear diffusers that even cover the evap in the rear. APR sells the front one's that extend to the sides of the front bumper. Couple that with the 2010+ extension and louvered trays, should make a difference in cooling, hood flutter and stability on the road

    Technical headlight question

It has been done. Just look up front end conversions. Even if you have the front bumper and fenders it wont line up to the doors right. Still looks cool imo!

How do I make 400whp in an 06 GT?

JLT CAI Stroker kit High compression pistons 127500 cam Intake manifold Ported heads Cmcv delete Headers, cat delete, x pipe Under drive pulley Light weight drive shaft And a really good dyno tune Where you are pushing 7000 or more rpm Rear gears help with your accel but wont produce power...

Limp mode after throttle body was taken off!!!

How big is the new tubing? I remember reading something from a tuner a long time ago that any intake tubing bigger than 3-3.5inchs will throw the maf off which can give you no start and rough driving. The go-to intake (JLT3) is 4inch in diameter. Could check the voltage on the throttle body and...

Howard’s rattler cams not being long enough

Wtf thats weird. I second FrebB's idea, imo call the seller(if bought from a business) and see if it was manufactered correctly

Limp mode after throttle body was taken off!!!

Did you touch the brass adjustment screw on the throttle body? Did you upload a new tune for the cai?

I def think that is achievable. To save weight: AC unit is 40lbs aftermarket k member saves 20lbs bmr rad support 10lbs Delete front sway bar saves 25lbs JPC bumper supports saves 20lbs bmr adjustable motor mounts save 4lbs which you'll probably need for the k member lightweight battery can save...

    Light weight brakes ?

Imo keep the stock gt brakes if ur going for 3000lbs or less and still drive outside the tracks. Drag brakes should only ever be used for the strip. Sure the gt500 / s550 brembo upgrade stops way better but they add a lot of weight. If you've cut 500+lbs the stock brakes with better pads and...

Weight reduction, i'm running out of options

Yeah JPC makes bumper supports. From my list I also have -qa1 coilovers weigh 10lbs less than stock. No proof but thats what someone who has them told me -BMR motor mounts weigh 4lbs which is 50% less than the stockers -16"mishimoto rad fan from summit racing is 7lbs lighter -lightweight...

Weight reduction, i'm running out of options

Well a few things: -Seats are 50lbs, *racing* seats will cut 20lbs+ each -1/8 tank of gas is 14lbs / 108lbs saved -shaker 1000 , subs+amps =50lbs -stock mufflers 30lbs, certain ones are like 6-9lbs each so can save 15lbs or so -stock cats weigh 17lbs -tubular rad supports save 10lbs, front...

Trying to fix my screwed up mustang + parts compatability question

As for the k member look online at like BMR and other brands that sell k members. I am 99% sure the v6 is the same as the v8. Also before you spend any money go to a frame shop and get a quote. Get it done right otherwise the car will be dangerous, never steer right and parts like the k member...

Mass Air Flow (MAF) issue, I’m stumped

Have you replaced the throttle body or touched it at all? Check the voltage on it, it can be adjusted with the brass screw. It can cause no starts, rough idles ect. Although it sounds more like a tune issue, has the car been tuned? Could throw off the maf reading.. are you getting any codes? You...

Spark Plug and Oil Consumption (Rebuilt Engine)

Bump, id like to know too! Were the plugs gapped correctly to what your tuner should have told you? Car looks boosted, was the tune revised before 1st start up too? (you didnt state new comp numbers with the new pistons). This was first start up? I figure there were some shavings or something...

    Swapping from nitrous to turbo

If you prepped for your nos setup properly then you shouldn't need anything. Really to push 400-450whp all you need is your power adder, larger injectors and fuel pump along with a tune. Speak to your tuner, they may suggest a new maf but you should be okay with your stock one if your pushing...
