    I normally disassemble and clean out everything with metal parts cleaner and compressed air to blow out all oil galleries and what not.

    Been to the same schools in Georgia as you. And the passenger side cylinder head seems to be the most common one with the #2 and #3 cylinders. A lack of oil to the lash adjusters which causes the rocker arm to beat out the needle bearings causing it to scar up the cam an rocker arm.

    I'm sure when they do the tuning for the program they load into your car it can be done. But simply using the hand held tuner and going through the menu it doesn't have a option for it. Make more sense that way?

    Quick question, by doing this your just getting a better rod/stroke ratio correct? Or are you still better off going with a 3.700" bore block because of the smaller stroke of the 4.6 and the bigger bore un-shrouding the valves??

    Ive actually done this with a couple cars using Fords IDS. You can bypass it in the programming.

    Are you sure about that?? when it comes to airbags I do not suggest wiring in a resistor when you can pretty much go through the PCM and delete the various circuits that go to the RCM. Wiring in a resistor into the harness which will be under the seats of the vehicle is just begging for...
