Thanks all. As stated above I'd plan on putting on a cat-back. Now, let me ask this. I don't want to put on headers, but I'd like to find a midpipe that has high flow cats to update the factory cats. Everything I've found requires the addition of long tubes with a high flow cat setup. I did...
Does anyone happen to know the wheel width of the optional 19" premium luster nickel painted aluminum wheels in the 5 spoke design for the 2011-2014 Mustang GT? I think it's either 8.5" or 9".
Thanks
Yah I meant 1/8 mile at the drag strip, some 1/4 mile. 305/45/17 Nitto NT555r2's. I just looked at a drag racing calculator and based on my setup 3.31 will put me right at the top of 3rd gear at the 1/4 stripe and the 3.90 gears will put me near the top of 3rd gear at the 1/8th stripe.
Hello all. I plan on getting a 2012 auto GT. I sold my last 16 auto gt due to financial stuff but am ready to get back into it. I plan on all basic bolt-ons including gears but no stall/supercharger/cam etc...I'm guessing in the 1/4 mile based on these trans ratios the 4.10's will be the...
I think that a 275/45/17 would look good but I can't find any in a drag radial. I agree, I think the 275/40 will look to small. I'm gonna go with a 305/45/17 or the original 275/50/17. Thanks for the help!!!!!
Yah I've seen this. I think the height of the 275/40/17 will be o.k on 12 mustang gt, I'm just looking for some pictures of people having them on there.
Thanks again.
Does anyone happen to run 275/40/17 drag radials on a 17x9.5" rim in the rear? I have a 2011 mustang gt. I used to run 275/50/17 drag radials in the rear but thought they looked to tall.
Thanks,
J.D
Hello all. Does a catback exhaust remove any factory resonators in a 2011 mustang gt automatic? I had a 2015 mustang gt auto and removed the resonators with straight piping and just put axle backs on. Not sure about the 2011 setup?

I'm changing from 3.55 gears in my 16 auto gt to 4.09 gears. I bracket race the car at the dragstrip. It has basic bolt ons and a dyno tune with the shift points around 7200rpm and rev limiter at 7800 rpm. I want to put off until the spring getting the dyno tune updated for the gearing change...
Yah, I read some info on another forum that mentioned the same thing. The Prochamber with stock cats actually made their car quieter. Wonder why???? I guess Mac is best known for their off-road prochamber.
Has anyone tried the new Mac cut and clamp prochamber? It's a direct replacement for your h-pipe. It doesn't involve the cats. Thinking of pairing it with my chambered flowmaster super 40's

Hey guys. I wasn't talking about the dragstrip, I was talking about leaving a nice long patch on the road out of the city away from the fuzz. I've seen some great replies. I might try the second gear burnout (I've got 4.10's/tune/CAI/muffler -basic bolt ons etc...) Might also try quickly...
