What have you done to your mustang today?

Changed the oil and diff fluid. Rolled 30k miles this weekend with it.

    Stumped on gearing

Yup, my bad, fat fingered the 4 for the 3. I wrote the numbers down on the ramps under the car both times, plus I'm assuming the stamped 31 on the gears indicated the 3.31.

    Stumped on gearing

Just an update for those of you who offered advice. Finally got around to pulling the diff cover today and checking the gears. They were stamped 31 and I counted the teeth, twice: 43/14. Just wanted to make sure since I was in there anyway. I appreciate the advice given, just disappointed it's...

    Stumped on gearing

Yeah, that was my next option, but one I really didn't want to do if I didn't have to. Guess I might be doing a diff fluid swap in the near future.

    Stumped on gearing

I looked for the tag today while we were under it but didn't see one, leading me to wonder about the previous owners blowing up the rear, and the different gearing. I tried the DigiHUD and Speedometer GPS HUD apps. I'm assuming they're correct, running off GPS and being nearly identical in the...

    Stumped on gearing

So I'm a little stumped here and looking for ideas/suggestions on this long post. I bought the car about 6 weeks ago or so and found the window sticker for it, showing 3.73 gears as an added option. On the 700 mile journey home, I felt the RPM were a little low for the shorter gears (2100-2200)...

What have you done to your mustang today?

MaxxHaul ramps. <--------hyperlinked (it doesn't show up well on my screen.) First time ever buying the brand but they worked flawlessly. Backed up on it and pulled up on them. I wish the lip at the end was a little higher, but after a few attempts of doing it without a spotter, I finally got it...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Wasn't done today but over the last week or so... Tested out the new ramps: Installed rear adjustable sway bar, end links, lower control arms and relocation bracket: Installed front adjustable sway bar and end links: Installed Kilmat in the trunk for now to see how it does: Taking...

Switched Power and Constant Power Fuse

I apologize now if this is in the wrong section, or if it's been posted already; please feel free to move if it needed. While trying to install a dash cam today, I needed a switched power source and a constant power source. I scoured the Google and struggled to come up with a solid answer other...

    SCT Tuner Question

I can take a look and see if it'll let me. I've got my latest version on it right now, but I can try to roll it back later this afternoon and see what it does.

What have you done to your mustang today?

I've been looking at the Siless and Kilmat lately. I'm torn on the flooring but I guess if I'm doing the roof, why not do the floor too...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Have you used that before? I've been debating using some sound deadening in the trunk/doors/headliner area but have never used any in the past. Figured while I have the headliner out I could run the rear camera for the dashcam.

    2010 GT Experiencing a Flat Spot/Bog

It's been a busy week, but I believe the issue has been worked out. I've had a lot of email conversations and 3 tunes from Lito, and the car is running amazingly well. The bog/lag/dead spot appears to be gone and the car has become very responsive in the 2000-2600 rpm range now. I appreciate all...

What have you done to your mustang today?

No, it's just the standard GT shifter with a black flat stick and black ball on it.

What have you done to your mustang today?

Got the Baton installed today. WOW, what a difference. I've run short throw shifters in the past, always used Steeda Tri-Ax, but this is a whole new level. I swear half the time it doesn't feel like I'm fully in 1st gear because of how short it is. Love the feel and style of the flat stick.
