can someone post the in car guide for removing te camshafts please

Damn dude. I can't believe how many issues you're having since the last time I've been in here. The best thing I ever did was sell my 07 and buy an 87 Fox with a 351W swap. Look at the thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars you put in that car to barely get into the high 10's, low...

    Steeda Pulley install

I've noticed nothing. Maybe 4 HP on the dyno and you can't feel it. Also, one of the pulleys in the kit corrodes and turns a whitish color (not the crankshaft one). I had my first set replaced and it's happening to the second one. Apparently I'm the only one though so who knows. Would I...

I video taped the noise I'm getting... check it out...

I was told to spray some White Lithium Grease around the bearings on each pulley on separate occasions to check if maybe I can isolate the problem... does this make sense? For example: Tonight I would spray the tensioner pulley bearing with grease then start the car to see if the noise goes...

Don't think I want a supercharger because the more mods I do the more problems I have... sigh...

I video taped the noise I'm getting... check it out...

UPDATE: We tried to duplicate the noise but it wasn't possible because the car doesn't do it when it's warm. They took the belt off and inspected everything and saw two things that MIGHT be the problem... 1.) Number 6 pulley was slightly wobbly - it had a little play (idler pulley). 2.)...

Sorry for not being technically inclined... but is that the idler pulley?? If so, when the shop installed my UDP's - is there anyway they could have done something that would have caused or is causing one of my pulleys to go bad? (bad installation, too tight, too loose, etc???) I thought they...

Hawgman - "Does the noise change with engine RPM or load? If you turn on the AC does the noise go away, or get less frequent, or more frequent, or unchanged? Have you had any reason to have the belt off recently?" I haven't tried anything yet except just listening. I will definitely turn the...

Yeah, it doesn't sound like it's the phaser noise (after listening to Rick's video). I appreciate all of your opinions so far... they're very helpful. Hopefully others can chime in too. I'm really really hoping it's only a minor issue, if any issue at all.

Thanks Chris. The only thing that doesn't add up is that if it WAS the AC clutch, wouldn't it happen all the time rather than just in the cold?

ISSUE: I get a clack, clack, clack-type noise when I first start my car on a cold day and then it dissappears in about 2 minutes or so. It never happens in the Summer, etc... If I drive my car, shut it down, wait a few minutes and then start it up again, the noise is NOT there (I guess because...

    Strange noise from motor?

I agree 110% - sigh, oh well. You live and you learn. My next car is going to be a Corvette and if that doesn't work out then I'm officially disowning American cars...:2cents:

    Strange noise from motor?

sigh... since nobody knows, I guess this is another problem filed under Ford's sh*tty manufacturing. I wonder if the 2010 model is going to have stupid little issues too.

    Strange noise from motor?

Yeah, what's the TECHNICAL update regarding this thread? I get a clack, clack, clack-type noise when I first start my car on a cold day and then it dissappears in 2 minutes or so. Never happens in the Summer, etc... If I drive my car, shut it down, wait a few minutes and then start it up...
