Just wondering if someone can tell me why the eagle stock store crank has a stroke of 3.544" instead of 3.543"? They have the same journal sizes and everything as a stock stroke crank except the stroke isn't the same lol.

Zero point zero zero one. Let that sink in. 1/1000 of an inch.

Anyway, it's a rounding error when converting from it's true spec in mm.

My bad it was a typo in the first post it's actually 3.554 so it's .011 bigger. I consider that a pretty significant difference

Perhaps they did it to make off the shelf rods and pistons be closer to ideal quench.

Well deck height is 227mm, the rods are 150.7mm and the stroke is 90mm. The piston pin height is 31mm. So, that's 227-150.7-31-45(half the stroke) = .3mm. That works out to a .0118" below deck height. Add .010" to the stroke and you get better quench from off the shelf parts.
