Lot of folks to thank...this thing run like a sewing machine actually....a sewing machine making @550 + rwhp that is...LOL
Thanks to Jim and Jim III at JDM for a great tune first and foremost...you can have all the stuff man but if the tune is not there its just a 400 lb boat anchor.
Thanks to Mark Lutton at MMR for a tiight short block.
Thanks to Ron at Foxlake for an unheard of 6 day turnaround on a set of modular heads. I've built 6 mod motors and no one has promised and delivered like that.
Thanks to Cali HP for some special favors he helped with along the way.
thanks to my Friend Dave silverstang for helping me time the motor.
For those of you that know the car you recall it had 411 gears, 28" rear D/R 28.8" street rubber, 3200 converter, L/T w/Off road, #12 Saleen, adjustable front, adjustable rears, lowers uppers, aluminum shaft, relocation brackets and a JDM tune and ran 11.09@129 on D/Rs and 11.8 on street tires.
The last 2 months I have worked on the car and added the following:
Stage 2 heads w/bronze guides springs, and the good valves.
Shortblock(900 hp series)with the good stuff&cobra [email protected]:1 compression
MMR oil pump
A 5.5" elec water pump instead of 5" (belt wrap baby)
7.5" SFI I/West crank
2.95" GI Joe 8 rib pulley
Billet tensioner
ATCO radiator
Gordford H/Exchanger
BMR K member
PA/ Deep aluminum ol pan (the only leak on the car)
Carbon fiber shaft
Panhard bar
2 More Bogarts
11.5" X 28" slicks ( for track )
Extreme anti roll bar ( for track )
D/S loops
yet the car is still quite the sleeper
The new hood goes on tomorrow...It's painted and ready...
