I am planning on removing my keyhole in the rear. What did you do to remove it, or did you just fill right over the top??

the 2 hole that hold the badge i just welded them in and the key hold i used a blank to fill in the hole and tacked welded it and grind smooth

I recessed mine a bit further than yours. It was in at least an inch, but that's a LONG time ago.
