Does anyone have a photo of a PMP line lock install? I just got the kit from PMP and want to make sure I'm doing this right? Really I'm just looking for the location of the solenoids I'm pretty sure I have the flex lines figured out....

Do the Jegs solenoids have to be mounted vertical?

my kit is a homemade one using summit solenoids, but fro mthe pics here you can see the basic setup. you wont be bending and cutting lines like i did but you get the basic idea

no problem

yes i did. actually i think they were self tapping sheet metal screws or concrete screws i forget but neither solenoid has moved in over a year and they haven't loosened either. i used 1 existing hole down there and drilled a new one on the other side

In the front wheel well, that black thing on the right side of the pic is the strut.

Ok last question;
I have everything mounted and brakes are bled.. Did you guys have to use a relay when using two solenoids? I have the hurst T-handle with the button. but I can't find any amp rating for the button on the handle. It looks like each one of those solenoids draws about 2.80 amps.

According to this wiring chart. a 22AWG gauge wire will hold 7 amps. Not sure what Hurst uses guess I'll go out and see if I can measure the diameter.

I've used the Hurst T-handle switch with dual line locks in my car without a relay and so does Josh. We haven't had any issues.

Are you saying you did the burnout and then stopped while still in the water? That's not what you want to do. You need to leave the water box while the tires are still spinning... otherwise, they get wet again after the burnout.
