Looking to do a cowl hood on the car.

The only 2 i have really seen are the Cervini and Tru Fiber.

I've used Cervini's before, and I know their quality is great.

Looking at the Tru Fiber, it looks pretty nice as well, but I have no feedback on thier quality.

Are thier any other options out their for the 2011's that I may be missing?

I have a trufiber on my 500 and its perfect. I have had cervinis on 3 of my other mustangs and they always fit like a glove and look great, ive had issues with trufiber in the past but never with cervinis. I have used bmc for the black mamba hood for my friends 10 gt500 and was a great quality hood.

I've got a cervini cowl and it's pretty good quality. No complaints

I'm sold on Cervini's quality. I kind of like the 3" cowl though. I had a 4 on the 06, it was a little big.

the 2 1/2 to 3 seems the way to go.

I'm planning on going to blow through I think, and with the boss, i should be able to remove the spacer with the cowl hood. I should be able to fab a pretty decent straight tube for some good air metering

I dont have the cowl as you can see from the pic below. The fit was perfect and the guy who does all my painting was very impressed with the hood. Hes done Cevinis, Hardwood's etc.

Cervinis makes good quality stuff and from what I hear the TruFiber is hit or miss, sometimes they make good stuff and other times its just crap.

I put a Steeda hood on my 2000 back in '02. As nice as if not nicer than OEM Ford product. I'd bet the quality is still there.

Had their Cowl hood on my car for a bit. Was perfect.

Also have their fenders and two-tone black/red CF front valance.

That looks awesome. I don't know why they wouldn't make one like that for the 05-09....thats the only reason I went with the Kaenen instead of them this time.

I had their 2.5" and 4" cowls for 99-04 and couldn't complain one bit....I'll see if I can pull up a pic of the 4"

I'm planning on going with the Tiger Racing super louver hood. Anyone know the weight on the Cervini's or TruFiber hoods (general)?
