Drag brakes don't have enough mass for repeated braking on the street. They are made pretty much to be used once and then cooled down. You can use them on the street but don't expect to see any kind of performance as they will get too hot very quickly.
Due to what I believe was a bad oil filter I may have driven my car a few miles along the freeway with a very low oil pressure. The light never came on but as I rolled up to an intersection I glanced at my pressure gauge it was hovering between 0 and 5 psi. I shut the motor off and coasted into...
Well, I drained the pan and didn’t see anything unusual. Then I noticed the little penzoil oil filter. I always did my own changes and bought a case of K&N a while back. Then I remembered that when the car was on a rack for a tire repair I told them to go ahead and change the oil while it was up...
So call me crazy but I have my reasons. Back story; I've had my Mustang for 15 years now. The other day she lost oil pressure and I shut her off and had her towed home. I don't know how far I drove with basically no oil flowing. I haven't pulled the pan or investigated yet but I was thinking...
Yep, Raxiom is hit or miss. My taillights have been flawless from day one. The finish is starting to wear but that is to be expected out here in the high desert.
Yeah but they didn’t match my 18” black bullet style front wheels. I put them on a while back cause I had a slight mishap. Anyways the tires were the only ones I could find in the time I had to get my car on the road.
And they suck. Not tall enough and spun them all over the place. It was fun...
You might want to try upping the pressure in your front tires. I had a bit of trammeling going on but I found if I run about 36-38 psi it reduces it by a bunch.
Why didn't you run power to the motor first to see if it was good? Yeah there is a fuse to check. Do you know if it is getting power??? And if it is have you checked the ground??? These are things to check before buying a new motor.
