I guess that is why Purple Ice says it reduces scale. One doesn't get scale from Distilled water, but from tsp water, oh yeah.

And they actually send oil samples to be tested in a lab. They truly DO know how long oil lasts.
Anyone can send a sample of your oil to be tested. Or people can swap stories on the Internet about how long oil lasts in their vehicle with no data.

If you have a rather clean intake, you won't notice much (it was clean to start with), but if your vehicle is old and dirty (our used 454 Suburban) it will smoke like a you blew it up until all the oil is out of the intake.

For a certrifugal, the math is not linear like with a positive displacement blower, but the math is based off pressure ratio not directly PSI.
As an example, the case of the 13 to 17 PSI, the pressure ratio went from 1.9 to 2.2. This is an increase of 15% from a 10% overdrive. Centrifugals...
x2.
If you use the KB or Whipple lowers, you give up intake runner length. You will make more average power from the factory intake or any aftermarket with a JPC air to water than using an ultra-short runner intake like the KB and Whipples.
