Just bought some GT500 mufflers off a guy. Are these more or less the same as GT mufflers?

GT500 mufflers are different than regular GT mufflers. I had a set of 2012 GT500 mufflers on my GT and they are a bit louder. Still have them if anyone wants them.

    Technical headlight question

You have to change more than the headlight. Yes, the 13-14 headlights will fit, but you have to swap to an entire 13-14 front end

Which one to choose, Coilovers or struts?

I've had BC coilovers on my car for 10+ years and zero complaints. It's my DD car with 212k miles on it and it's been from Key West, to Washington DC to Smoky Mountains to hunting trips in Alabama. Everyone that's ever ridden in my car says it rides way better than they would of expected due to...

Which one to choose, Coilovers or struts?

He's talking about using scales on all 4 corners and adjusting the ride height so each corner has the same load/force applied to the road. It balances the car out.

On going Clutch issues and a big Hello from England!

I have an MGW shifter and it's so much nicer than the OEM. Most people use either an MGW or a Barton. I've heard great things about both. I think I put the lighter assist spring back in my car but didn't really notice a difference. The oem clutch is the main culprit in the MT82 transmission...

    inner tie rod

so from my own research, the only difference in the tie rods would be the limiter, which is based on your wheel size. They are all physically the same length, diameter, strength, etc. I'm going to buy the one's for 18" wheels since that's what's probably on there, OEM original inners. My 20x9...

    Fog lights not working

I added heated seats to my car, the exact same way the factory would of. So I added wires to the existing connectors into the SJB, etc, and everything works as it should. No reprogramming necessary.

    inner tie rod

I do my own alignments on my '66 and a couple other vehicles, but this one has a lifetime alignment, so I make use of it. I like your method though, good idea!

    inner tie rod

I didn't either. Still trying to figure out how tire diameter would require a different inner tie rod. I was looking at RA as well and saw all the options which has me confused. yea, it's an EPAS rack. I planned to do both sides at the same time while I was there and going to need an...

    inner tie rod

I have a clicking sound coming from my front end. I can hear it when you shimmy the steering wheel back and forth very slightly while parked. It's coming from where the inner tie rod attaches to the rack on the drivers side. I'm going to pull the boot to make sure it's the inner rod...

    wiper motor issue

Wiper motor was faulty, new replacement works as it should. Still an issue with the brights though, sometimes, not all the time. I think I've heard the relay clicking a few times after starting as well. If the multifunction switch doesn't fix the issue, I'll swap the relay next. since no one...

    wiper motor issue

is there anything special about the accessory delay relay in the SJB? Or is it just a 40 amp relay? part number is 5c3t-14b192-aa

    Lights not working, help?

maybe the multifunction switch? They like to route everything through there it seems. Although they're on national backorder at the moment apparently, I've been looking for one myself.

    Issues w/ Speakers

have you checked the factory amp for the door subs? It's driers side footwell, up kind of high. A little silver box. It might be on it's way out since it works sometimes and sometimes not? Pics don't work for me.

    wiper motor issue

Another update, went to move car after getting home ... key on and relay in passenger side foot well started clicking like crazy, wipers didn't work correctly at all. They stopped halfway through the cycle, would only work on constant wipe, not intermittent and would stop anywhere in the cycle...

    wiper motor issue

apparently it's not the wiper motor, that's just a symptom of what's going on. The switch for brights doesn't work properly all the time. If I pull back on the stalk, they'll flash on for a second then click off on their own. If I push the stalk forward for constant on, nothing happens. But...

    SCT Tuner Question

The 2 people that have said they didn't return their ECU to stock are 4.6's, maybe that's the difference? Was the same PCM used for both engines? I've always returned my '12 GT to stock before loading a new tune, never tried the other way.

What have you done to your mustang today?

I started in my trunk and am working my way forward. The entire trunk is done, inside 1/4's, floor, etc all the way to the back of the front seats. Made a big difference doing the trunk, keeps a lot of the exhaust noise outside the car.

What have you done to your mustang today?

No worries, it's fixed now ....... Got it sanded, filled, primered and base coat down yesterday. Shot the clear this morning and it's drying in the sun. Will cut and buff it tomorrow after work.

    wiper motor issue

Definitely a motor issue. Bolted new one up and it functions at it should. The stud on the other one was different, I had to use a couple washers to get the linkage arm to seat onto the splined stud. The issue wasn't really that they were parking incorrectly sometimes. It's that the motor...

    wiper motor issue

I'm not paying what ford wants for a wiper motor Edit: they've come down quite a bit since I last looked. They wanted almost $300 for that about a year ago

    wiper motor issue

I did. I clocked my armature the same was it was when I removed the existing motor. Like I said, it works perfect with no wiper arm attached, but for some reason, the drag/resistance of the wiper arm causes it to freak out. It's not an alignment issue.
