Hey fellas, did a swap in my 05 gt with a 2008 gt500 wheel. Kept the same airbag, connectors were the same. My problem is the air bag lights 5 + 2 on start up. I went over connections several times and everything seems to be right. Cruise control works and everything else. Is this a common problem? Or do you have to delete the codes in computer? Any help would be appreciated

It should not throw any codes. I swapped wheels and had no issues. You could have damaged part of the clock spring or the airbag plugs. I’d pull it apart and double check everything. Do NOT use a multimeter you can set off the bag. Inspection only.

Also make sure all your grounds are tied down properly. I had no problems with my 06.

I assume you unplugged the battery when messing with the airbag too? If not, maybe it detected it being unplugged and that’s why.
