Just received my M18xR2 and removed the Samsung 830 (OEM PM830) 256GB SSD and the 1600MHz DDR 32GB of RAM and replaced it with a 512GB SSD and 2133MHz HyperX RAM. Both of these items have less than 5 minutes of runtime. I started up the computer upon receipt, made sure it was running fine, and shut it down for replacing the drive and memory.

Guaranteed 100%. PayPal. Shipping $5.

Note: I'm mailing these via a United States Postal Service on our military base here.

Sure does. Two slots on the bottom, and two slots underneath the keyboard. If you go to the M18xR2 support page, you can download the Bookmarked/Table of Content .pdf file that shows you how to remove the keyboard.

Takes about 5 minutes. That's what I like about my Alienware, they give you the complete instructions on how to disassemble, upgrade, and reassemble the computer.
