I have a Kenne Bell on my car. The blower has a little oxidation/water spot type crud on it.

The blower casing, I hit with a Metal Polish (Wenol) and it looks beautiful, but it took some elbow grease! The difficult part for me is cleaning and polishing the Lower Intake Manifold and getting around some of the hard to reach areas where I need to buff. I'm not willing to pull the blower off to do it.

Do any of you guys have an easier method to clean and polish the lower Intake Manifold and the hard to reach areas, where buffing is required?

Any other recommendations on cleaners, polishes, etc.?

Not sure if it'll help, but if it's shiny, Eagle Nevr-Dull will polish it. Affordable, too; $5 buys a ton of the stuff at Advanced Auto Parts.
Maybe you could somehow put some Nevr-Dull on a pen to get hard-to-reach areas?

If that doesn't help, maybe a pic could help us figure out what would work? I'm not sure how small the space you're talking about is.

Patience with cleaning things like this is what you need. I perfer the Meguiars NXT metal polish. Works the best I think.

Thanks! I'll look for that at the store this afternoon.

I didn't know NXT came in metal polish, good to know! Really like the NXT wax, so looking forward to trying the polish.

I've got a KB polished as well. Only polished it once, and just wipe it off with a damp microfiber towel once a week, mabe some spray polish made for motorcycles that you can use on metal/paint/plastic.

I was actually thinking of using either a powerball or a Dremel with an extension and just buff it out with some Wenol or Flitz.

Other than taking the blower off, this is my only other option.

I have a power ball but never used it. Touching it with anything more than a microfiber towel leaves scratches.

A friend of mine purchased this

41oy2Cdq22L._SL500_AA280_.jpg

It's cheap (about $10) and he used it on his ccw's. It gets oxidation and water spots out better than anything i've ever seen and with little effort too. We also tried it on a friends old truck that had diamond plate bed rail covers. Came out great. It is mainly for cleaning though, you'll still have to do a final polish if you have surface scratches but it makes for an easier job due to the fact that the surface is "cleaned".

Nice thank you! This is what I was looking for.

Who makes it and where did you buy it?

We got ours from http://www.properautocare.com/ . They are actually local for me (Tampa, FL area). Very nice group of guys to deal with, we talked to them for a good hour the first time we went in before buying anything. They had the cheapest price on Klasse (which was what it was buying at that time). That being said just about any place like http://www.autogeek.net/ will carry it.

Also: The P21's polishing soap leaves something behind so it beads water pretty well after you use it.
