Saleen Friends,
The big Saleen convergence on the Gullo Ford Car Show is just a little over a week away!
I'm really excited about a number of things that look like they have a pretty good chance of happening.
As you may have picked up from my last email, there are a couple of serious Saleen collectors in the Houston area that are going to be bringing in several fine examples of Steve Saleen's handiwork. This should really add to the excitement.
And we are currently working with Joe Cram to try to bring out the Dyno Joe Performance/Magnaflow/Edelbrock drag car
http://www.edelblog.com/images/frequent_flyers/jcram_1.jpg This is an absolutely awesome car, and Joe won the season opener in the JDM Super Stang class at NMRA Bradenton. Joe runs Dyno Joe Performance in Houston and is a really knowledgeable Ford man and a really good guy.
And in really big news, Gullo Ford will very likely have one of the first 2010 production S281s there for us to lay our eyes on. I'm sure yall have seen pictures of the show car, or may have even seen it at the Houston Auto Show a couple of months ago. All I can say is that these are some of the most beautiful cars ever produced by Saleen. I'm really looking forward to seeing a production car in person.
Gullo and the Northside Mustang Club are really putting alot of effort into making this a great show, and are really excited about having as many Saleens come as possible. They can accommodate as many of us as we can gather up, but it will help them if we can give them the best head count possible. The best way to do this is to pre-register, so I've included a registration form that you can print, fill out, and send in. As an incentive to sign up early, the first 10 to pre-register will receive a special surprise gift at the show, and I guarantee you will want one!
Be sure and get them in the mail asap....you don't want to wait to send it in and not have it arrive until or after that Saturday! That'd create some serious confusion at check-in.
These forms go directly to the NMC so I won't know until the day of the show who has sent theirs in, so I'd appreciate it if you could just drop me an email when you get yours sent in.
So shine those ponies up and get ready to head to Conroe on April 17!
