i dont think it looks that bad... the Dan Gurney Saleen Mustang had them..thought it looked pretty cool

Like the 2013 GT500's setup. Meh. It's nice and doesn't look bad to me, but not my taste. Probably look right at home on PJ Saleen or someone with PJ rear bumper conversion if someone was to turn the axle back into a slip on type instead of 11up ball and socket style connection.

However using the template on a rear valance probably won't look up close unless someone could ditch the template from magnaflow and heat roll the ABS to have that molded factory look.

I like it - the 1969 Mach I had quad tips, although a lot smaller in those days.
