Lakewood Aluminum Driveshaft

So, I am in the market for an aluminum DS. Now, I know there are an infinite number of manufacturers out there who make a quality product, and this is not a thread asking who's to buy, or who's is best etc. etc.

What I am inquiring about is specific information about Lakewood's Aluminum Driveshaft. A parts jobber up here lists this specific driveshaft for our cars, but for the life of me, I can't really find any concrete information about it. Heck, Lakewood does not even list it on their website as an actual part they make.

Some sites do list a part # for this DS but mention it is for a TKO transmission. Anyone ever heard of it? Used it? Even know if it exists?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ask them to make you one with CV joints and no splined section. The CV joints will have enough length change to accommodate leaving off the splined sleeve section which has been known to add to the problems of the replacement aluminum drive shaft.
