Adding a Steeda hood, C/S front and rear bumper covers. Will probably paint part of the hood in Matte Black and the remainder Tungsten Gray.

Y'all know what the car looks like now.........

That's the same look I am going for. I have the Steeda 2 1/2" Race Cowl painted gloss black, with the outside part white as well as the rest of the body.
The California Special front/rear are about the only fascia's I like out there, so choices seem limited.

I was wanting to get this same hood. The cheapest place I found it was Stage3 Motorsports for $799.00 with free shipping. Did you get it for a better price? The street version I know is alot less, but I want the race.

So I guess the only question left is do I paint part of the hood black or leave it Tungsten Gray.

I would paint part of it black...I think that will really address the cowl more and give it even more of a stance...

The only other one I had in mind was the Cervini's M1 kit. Haven't seen ANY cars with that setup at all anywere. I just want something that will set the car apart a little bit. It photographs well in the winner's circle pictures but in the magazines it just looks a little plain.

I've seen the Steeda hood with the Steeda fron fascia but not with the C/S version. I also thought about the Cervini's '67 GT500 hood with upper & lower side scoops and rear ducktail. However, the whole "Shelby-look" has been so overdone since the car first came out in '05. So....I'm back to something simple and understated. If not the C/S front fascia then I'm looking at the FRPP dress up kit with the front "spoiler" and rear black out panel.

This is what I think the hood should look like but you'll need to pin it.

I think it will look great. I have the Steeda hood and also had planned on the CS bumpers front and rear.

It will look good i think!

Depending on a meeting I'm having today at SEMA we may have a slightly different set of plans for the car. Keep your fingers crossed.
