I have a 2400km road trip upcoming (that's 1500miles).
I currently have Nitto 555R (305/35/20) rear tires and Falken FK452's on the fronts.
For the road trip do I:
1 - Make the trip as is with 555R's (currently have less then 1000kms use). Worried about wear; trip is 90% highway, through lots of mountains and possibility of bad weather (trip is from Calgary AB to Vancouver BC down to Seattle WA). Might want to keep em as fresh as possible for street and strip visits
2 - Remove rear 555R and re-install matching rear Falken street tires (slightly affraid that mounting and balancing too many times may hurt the soft Nitto's) Falkens are 275/35/20 and will work well in all weather.
3- Use my old set of wheels and tires (seperate 19" wheels already mounted and balanced with nearly worn out Eagle F1 supercar tires). They are at 7/32nds front and 5/32nds rear enough to go through my trip) This delays me selling them.
