Saw a pretty nice Sonic Blue Lightning at the gym the other day. So I ended up parking by it and notice he had some 555Rs on the rear. I start looking a little closer, and cannot believe my eyes when I see that he had put 555Rs on the front!! Unless this guy has a rare AWD lightning (ha), he must be seriously confused! Here is the pic

I ran 555Rs on the front of my '95 GT for about a week. Not on purpose- it just kind of worked out that I needed front tires quick, had the 555Rs mounted and in the garage, and threw them on while I waited for a day when I had time to head to the tire shop. LOL

I'm sure it confused people, as I had 275/40/17 BFG drag radials on the back at the time, too.

Eh, I ran 11.87 with a 1.76 60' on a pair of them (305/35/20) when I was making 460 rwhp.

^Agreed. I am running them on the street now and sometimes 2nd gear will just chirp if they are warm. Much better than my NT05s did which spun into 3rd... 4.10s don't help either.

Ive cut high 1.7 sixty's with stock 17" pirelli's.......nitto's never worked for me....hard as a rock and made my car wheel hop more than any other tire out there. They sure do last a long time though.....lol

11's for the 3v.....no I wish lol....would of kept her . 6,000 miles is more than some guys get out of regular radials......lol. Now 11's for the 5.0 is just around the corner

Seen a white cobra convertible with drag radials on all four corners...heard he was an autocrosser. First time I've see drags on every corner. I'll try and get a pic. (Added the pics...)
