I'll be pulling the battery and possibly the alternator. It ran like shit last night at the track and then died on the third pass. Mph was down 5 and then 10 mph, et was off. FML!!!

Nothing like being in front of thousands of people getting the tow of shame back to the pits.

Washed it and while vacuuming my floor mats I noticed the rear mats have a left and right.

On the fiancée's Shelby:
Adjusted the linkages on the BMR Watts Link.
Replaced the worn/cracked front stabilizer bushings with the new polyurethane BMR bushings.
Replaced the trans fluid with new custom-blended BND Automotive fluid.
Flushed the brake fluid, got all new Motul RBF600 fluid in it.
Emptied the Billet Tech catch can which was more than half full, quite a bit considering its only been on for about 2,000 miles.

Drove it :headbang:

Washed and waxed mine also. Its been a long summer, she hasn't been getting taken care of nearly as well as in the past.

Got a new/used stock driveshaft for it from a buddy with a '12 Roush.
My factory shaft has developed a clunk in the rear section.
I can make it happen if I hold the forward section in place and move the rear section back and forth.
New shaft is noise-free.
Hoping this will eliminate the clunk I get when I first put load on the drivetrain (when I first back up, then if I go forward when I first load the drivetrain in 1st)

That's a nice looking wheel

Thanks, I did a lot of shopping for wheels for this car. I thought this one was fairly unique in the styling, but tasteful and still has a little of the old school torque thrust kind of flare. As well as being reasonably priced.

Washed it finally. I predict rain tomorrow.

Well of course it's gonna rain now that you washed your car!

We could use some rain up here. No rain in the forecast for the near future. It does help keep the car clean, though. :thumb:

What have I done to my Mustang today? Well, technically it was last week, but I ordered some gently used track pads for it from a fellow forum member, as well as some Cooltech seatbelt harness mounts. Trying to slowly make this thing more track ready/friendly.

We have some we can send you, but beware we've gotten a measurable amount of rain almost every day for the last 2 months. So be careful what you wish for.

I swapped out the factory driveshaft for a shaft from a friend's '12 Roush

Mine had developed a noise in the rear section:

His was nice and solid:

The swap eliminated a clunk I was getting when putting a load on the driveline.
Noise gone, the car actually feels more eager to take off.
Can't wait to drive it again!!

You could paint that garage ... ^^^^
Haha you would bring that up! I just don't know what color, I have a habit of touching the walls with sometimes greasy hands.
