Any of you guys with fiberglass hoods running struts? Are the standard ones strong enough to hold the hoods up? I've heard the fiberglass hoods weight more than stock so I'm not sure if that's a concern or not.

Looks great Loots!!

The hood struts bow fiberglass hoods....So I would advise that you do not run hood struts with an aftermarket fiberglass hood.....You will have to put out more money down the road to have your hood fixed if you do....because it bows the hell out of the hood after a while.....I have a friend that ruined his TruFiber Venom Hood because of this....it was bad....Just my 2 cents.....Wanna try and save you some money.....

i'll be getting custom hood props made. they will use have a male and female end using the hood pins and go through the holes in the hood when propped up.
