Just send the roll-cage back as it seems like your decision per your last Post.
Even though you will be I'm sure footing the cost for shipping.
At least you will have most of your money back.
Regarding the, (Re-stocking-Fee).
I'm puzzled why Mike would really even be thinking like that from his end.
As he has Posted he is in Business.
But this roll cage is from a customer's car being, (Parted-Out) so why would there possibly be any reason for a restocking FEE.
It was a part off a customer's car not a new part or certainly not a Special Ordered Item that was made for only you and your Mustang.
Or a new part that was shipped out and you decided you did not want it.
Many times many of us have heard this statement,
(If it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't)
This would be one of those times for sure.
We and myself included have learned by doing over the years.
This will be one of those learning times for you that you will not forget.
I hope you get this situation corrected very soon.
Oh and like you I don't have any patience dealing with this sort of thing.

Obviously knows the seller! Why else does he keep talking about how the buyer was told the pass side needs to be replaced?
I have seen no evidence of it and I think the buyer was not told all the facts here judging by what has been posted here. I for one will never do business with the seller just because of the restocking bull shit. I have sold a lot of parts here and if you are to happy with it, it is as simple as telling me and ship it back and I refund. I ship to you in the deal made you ship back. I have even covered the shipping back once on some carpet I sold that the buyer stated smelled like smoke. I had bought it used and didn't notice so I paid the shipping back. Like they say, it's not how you handle the good sales. It's how you handle the bad ones.
