Boosted compression ratio

Hey everyone, I am building a new engine with the plan to put a DOB blower on it in the future. I want a fun N/A car for a bit while I save again for the blower. Should I stay 9.8:1 or go 10.5:1+ for a more fun car N/A. My power goal is only 600WHP once blown. Thanks for any input.

Right around 9.5 to 9.8-1 works pretty good with a fixed displacement supercharger. Allows for plenty of boost and still has good power when not wide open. I would stay under 10-1.

I guess I should also mention I plan on going to E85 once boosted. But yes from what I’ve seen other places too under 10.0 is probably smartest.
