the front end is eh but i dont like that it looks like the gt500. it just takes away from that car and please no billet grille it doesnt flow with the car at all

Why does everybody think the front grill sucks? I thought the GT500 front end was a highly desirable mod/upgrade? Now Ford put it on the regular Mustang it's all of a sudden not cool any more?

Exactly right- not cool anymore.

This is what Ford does when they give up on a design (S197). They take something special like the GT500 design and put it on all the cars. It's the last gasp before the new design comes out. 2013 production will probably be light. A lot of folks will be waiting for the new car with IRS. If Ford does things right, the new "50th anniversary" design will debut on April 17, 2014 in Dearborn, (where I grew up!). I plan to be there.

I don't see the resemblance. Besides, the Fusion looks more like a db9 ripoff.

Dascoyne got it, I was even going to say that whole front end is straight from Aston Martin's drawing board.

Makes some sense - Ford probably had the DB9 and Fusion on the drawing board at the same time given the lead time in the industry and Ford owning Aston Martin up until a few years ago. Wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't some crossing of ideas.

The rear has "a nice personality" again..
But really I'm glad they got rid of that weird point in the middle of the tailights.
They should have put plastic over the whole thing though, those deep as holes for lights don't do it any favors.

Gotta have it green is the color I think. It looks pretty weak IMO. If you are going full retro on colors, I want some really bold colors not some limp wristed pastels.
