New to Ford...Need Help Deciding

I've only been able to test drive the v6 model. All the dealerships in my area don't have any GT's on the lot.

Is the auto tranny just as quick as the manual?

Auto is quicker for straight line but less fun to drive. You will want a higher stall converter.

Maybe try testing a 2011-12 GT, the handling and power should be about the same and this will give you an idea of whether a GT will be enough for you.
