Hey all,

I had some water leaking issues in my 05 GT, so I brought out the old garden hose and started hosing the car off. It turned out that my window seals were toast. Here’s how I resealed them since everyone on the internet is charging 130 dollars for a piece of foam weather stripping. So far holding up and I have no issues. Anyone want to tell me how bad of an idea this is?

New seal:

Product used (Home Depot special):

PS: the super glue in the background was not used to adhere the foam to the plastic. A clip broke off and I used that to put it back on.

I did the same thing although I used a wider foam and pushed the screws through it.
