2007 Base stock 4.0L. I'm getting ready to replace the Shaker 500 with a new head unit. This car came with satellite receiver & antenna. Will this 17 yr old equipment work with a modern radio receiver? Thanks in advance.

Modern aftermarket radio will have its own Satellite radio antenna. The trunk wart antenna WILL plug into the radio, but the XM module for these cars is in the trunk in the quarter panel. Will need to remove that as well, and get an extension cable from the trunk wart antenna to your new aftermarket radio, then it will
