Congrats
His reasoning was that he didn't want anyone to hear what he has done to the car tuning-wise so he covered it with the music. Not my deal so I didn't ask.

Actually....after the second run they told them to load it up. The advantages of being one of the track sponsors.I bet they kicked that car off the track as soon as the board lite up. 9s and not even a bar, let alone a cage. Awesome run. This car has so much potential......

In another related story.....I spoke with Rick Head of Exile Turbo Systems earlier this evening. Trial fitting of the Stealth GT Twin Turbo System to a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 will begin early next week. mmmuuuaaahhhhhaaaahhhhhaaahhhhhaaaahhhhhaaaaa
Doesn't the fact that this motor has a high CR sort of limit the potential for the FI route? Conversely, that high CR is a really good thing for the nitrous route, correct?
Riddle me this..........
My car had a stock engine at 9.8:1 compression. We added 8 psi of boost, 10 degrees total timing at 11.5:1 a/f ratio. With 3.31 gears and nowhere near enough stall speed the turbos would not spool until around 80 feet out of the hole. It ran 10.88 at 128 mph.
Now...add that combination to the new 5.0 engine at 11:1 compression with MS109 fuel and a decent converter that will yield around 3000 rpm stall speed. If it doesn't go 9.50's at 140+ mph I'd shoot it.

Knowing Rick....this kit should be ready in about four to five months.Drove my 6 speed auto home tonight! Now I have a car I can actually try to run consistently lol. Nitrous? FI? who knows!!!
Yup...."dumbass" seems to run rampant among most of the populace.yep but you know there are going to be people that are going to insist on doing it with pump gas, and carnage will soon follow
