I have a 5.1L stroker with a 78mm/.96 comp oil-less turbo. Went to the Dyno yesterday and I can't get the power up where it should be. The power falls off early. When the boost is increased above 14.5 psi, it misfires and the power drops off. The tuner thinks the 3" in and out on the exhaust side of the turbo is limiting the motor and causing too much back pressure. I do not have info on the cams as they were in the car when purchased, only info is stamped on them v310 000 on passenger side and v315 055 drivers side. Car is on e85 with 1600s probe industries pistons and scat crank. Car is super fun to drive but I feel like I am leaving some meat on the bone. Has anyone had an issue with this size exhaust piping at power levels 800+? Has anyone had this issue with cams? I'm lost here. Does the exhaust housing need to be larger?
