About to Cut a Big Hole in my Stock Hood!

I am about to cut a hole in my hood. I really need a Cobra Jet Hood Scoop.

My blower sticks through the stock hood a little bit.

Any word on this hood scoop. Really need one ASAP..

Any one heard anything on the CJ Scoops??

holy crap haha "what do u have done" " well i put a blower on my engine, that wasnt enough so i got a blower for my blower. haha "

i think you should get diferent motor mounts for the supercharger to clear the stock hood. or get a taller hood. show a picture of your car i dont think the cj looks good tought

My blower sticks out due to the k member, Be higher than stock.

why would you be using a Kmember that raises your engine. You should be lowering your engine

I cut a hole in my hood so that the stock fake hood-scoop was actually functional. My blower still has like 2 or 3 inches before it touches the hood.

That car was at the dream cruise in Michigan last year. I was done real nice and not pieced together. I did not hear it run but a friend saw him driving it. Why the spacer? just for show i would presume huh?

i have Jba longtubes with 3 inch collectors that require Bmr kmember Km010. And a Kenne Bell Mammoth blower with a BBR Spacer for Water Meth.

i woulda just changed the longtubes haha much cheaper and easier. a lot more reversable than cutting a hole in the hood.

+1. I love that old school street/comp look. I'm working on a custom CAI with an old Hilborn style scoop sticking out of the hood.

Spacers will not get it low enough. Really need some help on locating a CJ Scoop.

Wow what a waste -_- Im so disapointed in the "big blowers" its not even funny lol half the members on the board would probably waste that thing

Im pretty sure that thing is packing a pretty good punch though. I would say way less than half of us could take on that.Even small blocks on blowers make some pretty sick times

IMO you need a BBR 3" cowl hood.

Plus it will look a ton better than a CJ scoop ...

im biased to the cowl's myself,sounds like you have a great set up!

I have the 3 stripes like the Super Snake. So the BBR 3 inch cowl will not match my paint. I was able track down a Cobra Jet scoop, Off an actual CJ Car. The guy took the scoop off and put a stock hood on his car. He will sell it to me for $300
