Just thought I would pop in and let you guys know the Lund Tune claimed my # 7 & 8. I opened the hood and now I only have six cylinders, also the 5.0 badges fell of my car.... Has this happened to anyone else?

Not to step on any toes, but IF there REALLY was a problem of #8 cylinder popping and I KNEW what was going on, I'd spill the beans.
Now with that being said, That's NOT revealing any "proprietary" information. You'd be revealing what OTHERS do in the tune, NOT what YOU do.

I'm just saying...........

ps That "proprietary" information statement is actually pretty funny.

Thats not true, if you tell them what they are doing wrong that is causing the problem, you are pointing them in a different direction to go with their tuning

Data logged my 91 Street tune last night. Sent them to Lund and got a reply overnight. He said I got -.5 knock for less than .25 sec below 1700rpm which is fine. And the most knock retard seen was -.625 at full WOT. .84-.845 lambda. WOT spark is conservative 23-23.5 degrees with zero knock retard.

Sounds like a win to me. Thats an unrevised email tune from John.

my 93 aggressive tune knocks a decent bit at WOT up around 5500, but in fairness I did my logging during 100F temps.

Its going to cool down next week, so I'll do it again.

I'm buying some VP100 Unleaded gas to mix in when I go to the track. Figure a few gallons of 100 to 93, should get me around 94-95'ish, which should at least ensure my minimum octane is 93 during these warmer months.

LOL..........Not really. They don't know WHAT direction to go, now do they?

But my point is that I would do that if I knew the info, especially since I had all this "proprietary" information in my brain.
