    Ram powergrip hd clutch question

    I am installing a new clutch in my car. It came with a shim that goes between the trans and slave. I'm guessing this needs to be installed but have never heard of having to do it if you haven't machined the flywheel. Can anyone verify this?

    Spark plug choice...

    All motor, 11.5 compression, 3.65 stroke, stock bore, ported heads, and 127600 cams. I was debating on running a stock heat range plug, or if there would be a benefit to running a hotter or cooler plug. I need all the NAsty power I can get since I'm no longer going the turbo route..

    Compression and boost???

    I see many many guys dropping their compression to 8.5:1 in order to run 15-20psi on pump gas. Why could you not run high compression with say 8psi, have the same final compression ratio, and have a way more responsive engine?
