When I wore out my first set of tires with 17,000 miles on the clock I purchased a set of new take off wheels and tires minus the TPMS sensors. After driving the car for about 25 miles the message displayed on the dash and the warning light came on. Since then everytime I start the car I had to clear the message and the light would flash then stay on the entire time I was driving the car. Well for the last week or so when I start the car I get no message and no warning light, it's just like it was when the car had working TPMS sensors. Has anyone else experienced this and will the message and warning light return someday?

Good question. When I purchased Brembo wheels and tires of my liking I refused to buy new TPMS sensors. So far when I start the car I have to clear the message every time. The light on the dash doesn't bother me because there's also one when I turn of traction control. I haven't put a ton of miles on it though so maybe at some point the message won't appear anymore.
