Earl,

Looking good Buddy. :thumb2:

Nice Cell Pic.

Terry

Well it's finally starting to come back together. If all goes well, this will get finished up and installed this week. Excuse the crappy cell phone pic.

Sucks about the fire, but damn you did not waste any time getting everything rebuilt! That's awesome!

Here's an update guys. I finally got my car back yesterday but it was raining so I couldn't really enjoy it. I took it out today and I really like the new setup. The engine with the now stock compression is much more responsive, when not in boost, then the old low compression motor. I'm still taking it easy with it but enjoying the hell out of driving it again.

Mike tuned it for the same 600 rwhp at 15# of boost but at only 11 degrees of timing, for a safe street tune. I can put another 3-4 degrees and pick up about 30-40 hp. Here is a short vid of a pull. It's not much, I took it with my phone and the sound is terrible.

I take it to the bodyshop next Thursday to get the underside of the hood repainted and then it will finally be fully resurrected from the fire. Just in time for the track rental in April.

That is great news Earl! I can't wait to get my 10.5:1 engine built.

I don't know how I missed this thread, I'm glad you got it running again, and I'm buying a fire ext tomorrow!

Great to see you get back on the road Earl!

I've said it before, but absolutely one of my favorite 3V builds!

Very nice. Different wheels on there I see or just for tuning? How does it like the new converter? Bump it up with a race tune. LOL!!
