Gregg (Wicked Xtreme) your wire kit is packed and ships in the morning, let me know if you have any more questions about using it with a bap.

single hat with aeoromotive pump!!

just want to post on here and let everyone that is looking for a great fuel system upgrade dont hesitate to buy one from jeremy. i recently installed his single hat with a aeoromotive pump and made a pulley change to make about 11 psi of boost on my 2006 gt with a tvs blower and i broke in to the 10's. i have not dynoed the car since the pulley change but i would est it to be around 480-500 rwhp. car held a steady 11.5 air fuel. i would not have tried this with my stock fuel system..

Thank you, omar

took my new car out last night for test and tune to try out my new mods since buying the car about 5 weeks ago least to say i am very pleased with my results considering that the car ran [email protected] mph when i bought it from the previous owner. i was a little surprised with what it ran a [email protected] mph. i also backed it up with a [email protected] mph need new slicks they are a little worn out. i also drove the car 40 miles there and back home!!

my mods are as follows:

2006 gt stock eng and trans
jba long tube headers with off road h pipe no cats
pi torque converter 3k stall
3.73 gears
Jdm tuned
new single aeromotive 340 fuel pump (bought from lightblade sales here on the forums)
vmp 3.25 upper pulley 11 psi
stock crank pulley
28' hoosier slicks with race star wheels

Thanks for the upgrade. Perfect setup.

I thought the gt500 had dual 130lph which would make it 260. that is why I went with the aeromotive 340 with BAP. Am I missing something here. Looking to support 650 plus.

Thanks.

No problem!

Yeah, I forget who posted that info but it is incorrect information. FRPP rates the dual pump hat at 375lph (essential double of what a stock gt pump flows)

But most tuners have found them to support hp similiar to 2 255lph walbro's, somewhere in the 230lph range for each pump and the Gt500 fuel setup on our cars is good to around 600rwhp give or take depending on setup.

The single 340lph with a bap will get ya 650rwhp ish but I would reccomend a dual pump setup when going north of 600rwhp imho. Just safer in general since you will have 2 pumps to share the load.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

I should have had them ship the pumps and the hats directly to you.

maybe in a week I should have everything, then off to the you to do your magic.

Yeah I have been doing it that way as well and it works out pretty good. You can just go ahead and send everything in one box though. Just let me know when your ready. :thumb2:

I got my gt500 hat. Going to send it to you with my 2 aeromotive stealth pumps.

Work your magic. Be in the mail tomorrow. There is no rush, as my car is not going anywhere.

Thanks.

Thank you. No rush at all. Motor is still in the car. since the weather has been great here in NY, it would suck to put the car away early.

Well its done lol, took me about 3 hrs, except I have to get 2 hose clamps tommorrow to finish it as I ran out.

Here are some pics of the stock t connector/pump holder.

Thank you. There wasn't any rush. Looks great. I should be good to 650+ without a BAP.

For all those wondering, it is a gt500 dual hat with twin aeromotive 340 stealth pumps. Jeremy knows his stuff and I trust his skills 110%.

Thank you

ok, so if I got the stock hat with twin 340's could I run a single BAP and see more flow? This might be easier than using my GT500 hat with dual GT supercar pumps, and rewireing everything. I also already have a single BAP and that would keep me from having to buy a DBAP. Just weighing some options.

That what I did on my car, I used a single 40amp bap turned down all the way to 13volts to a single fpdm to 2 deatswhercks 340 pumps. Worked fine and held steady pressure and a/f all the way to 7k at 16psi. I later wired in a second fpdm for insurance.
